Steve's Volvo 544 Page
Attention PV owners (PV444/544/445/210):
VOLVO PV FEST
July 15-17, 2005
Page created: 10/27/00 - Updated: 2/24/2005
I bought my 1964 Volvo 544 (Type 11244 E, Ch. Nr. 407947, Colour 46 red, Upholstery 46-237 grey) in 1966 with about 35,000 miles on the odometer. It's now approximately 90% restored using mostly NOS parts with the objective of making it as original as possible (the wheels in the photo are for daily use - the correct wheels and tires are stored in my shop). If you have comments, questions or additional sources to add to this page, I'd like to hear from you (email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org). We belong to the Volvo Club of British Columbia, a great group of Volvo enthusiasts.
Register your PV with Volvo PV Register - Dedicated to the Worldwide Preservation of PVs. Their goal is to collect information of surviving PVs, and to display the vehicles recorded in their worldwide Volvo PV database.)
Check out Brickboard.com: This is a site built for users by users. Over the years a huge amount of information about owning and keeping Volvos has moved through brickboard.com. Much of this information has been retained and is available in their archives. Can't find what you're looking for? Post a new item to the appropriate forum (there are forums for all of the vintage Volvos in their left panel). You can usually expect a response within an hour. There are many other types of resources available on this site as well, with more to come. You will not find more information about your Volvo anywhere else.
SOURCES OF VOLVO PARTS
I've found the following sources of parts for older Volvos (544, 122, 123, and 1800) while searching the Internet. As with any purchase, one should consider availability, price, service, policies, shipping, and the reputation of the supplier in making a decision. This list gives you a place to start looking for bits and pieces to maintain and/or restore your classic Volvo. Prices vary among sources, of course, so consideration has to be given to such things as shipping and currency differences. You will find prices in U.S. dollars, Canadian dollars, Swedish kroner, Dutch gilders, and European Union euros. For currency conversions I've linked two conversion calculators for your convenience: Oanda and XE.com.

Jaguar Parts Sources and Suppliers Though obviously not specifically Volvo, given the international componentry of a Volvo there are some good sources included. This is not paid commercial advertising.
