At a New Age conference, Duckman comes face-to-nucleus with a bacteria that may or may not be the spirit of his dead mother - reincarnated via microwave.

While taking the family on a budget vacation in Vietnam, Duckman and Cornfed come to grips with their separate wartime experiences -- along with the possibility that Cornfed may have fathered a Vietnamese potbellied pig.

Ajax goes to work for a greeting card company, where his poetry talents are destroyed by market research.
